Marketing Leap was not built in a boardroom. It was built by a solo mum who had already spent decades building businesses across industries and countries, and who understood what it actually takes to grow something from nothing.
Before Marketing Leap existed, Leanne Cohens had already launched a beauty salon inside Pacific Fair, built relationships store to store and conversation by conversation. She had run an import and retail business across South Africa, promoting outdoor furniture and BBQs through radio, magazine ads and house and garden shows. She had rebranded a global company for the Australian market. Every one of those experiences was a marketing education that no course could replicate.
Marketing Leap was founded in 2013 out of a desire to bring that hard-won experience to business owners who needed a genuine strategic partner, not another agency selling packages.
Twelve years and 400 clients later, the mission has not changed. But the way we deliver it has evolved significantly.
