While those statistics are for the US, Australia isn’t too far behind in our voracious use of social media and content creation.

Add to the fact that we have the attention span of less than a goldfish, it also explains why 80% of people prefer watching a live video over reading a blog post. 82% of people would choose live video over any other type of social media post. In addition, users watch live videos on Facebook 3 times longer than recorded videos and they get 10 times more comments. All in all, over 36% of Internet users have watched a live video.
